The department has undertaken regular extension activities through T & V, workshops, farmers rally , participation in farm advisory work through All India Radio, TV, Exhibition and telephonic help line of the University for problem oriented specific query of farmers in relation to crop pest management. Besides this department is also regularly organizing training programmes for extension personnel of State department of Agriculture, farmers self employment groups, school and college drop outs on different about plant protection, Beekeeping and Sericulture.
