In Vertisol of Marathwada region, to get maximum yield and monetary returns of green gram in kharif season, application of recommended dose of fertilizer i.e. 25:50 kg N and P2O5 with 25 kg k2O and soil application of 25 kg grade I micronuritent fertilizer per ha. or foliar spraying of grade II @ 0.5% at 20 and 35 DAS is recommended.
Project Title : Soil-Plant-Animal Relationship of Zn, Fe, Mn, Cu and Co in Cattle of Parbhani District of Marathwada Region.

It is recommended that cattle of Parbhani district of Marathwada region need to be supplemented with copper, manganese and zinc by formulating area specific mineral mixture using highly bio-available mineral salt to meet the nutrient deficiency of Zn,Cu and Mn which were found deficient in soil, fodder and serum of the animal of this region.
Project Title : Enhancement in zinc availability in soil using zinc mobilizing cultures for sustainable soil production on zinc deficient Vertisol.

For the enhancement of soybean yield, monetary return and improvement in soil properties, seed treatment of liquid Pseudomonastritaas zinc solubilizer @ 100 ml /10 kg seed + application of ZnSO4 30 kg ha-1 is recommended to soybean along with recommended dose of fertilizers.

It is recommended that very shallow soils (20-25 cm), silty clay loam, underlined by medium hard to hard murrum layer soils (Entisols) are to be selected for higher production of custard apple.
Project Title : Effect of tank silt application on soil quality, growth, uptake and yield of soybean under Inceptisol (TypicHaplustepts) soils of Agriculture College Farm, Latur.

In Inceptisols of Marathwada region, in order to obtain maximum yields , monetary return from kharif soybean and for the improvement in soil properties application of recommended dose of fertilizer i.e. 30: 60:30 kg N,P205 and K2O along with tank silt @ 5 t ha-1 + FYM @ 2.5 t ha-1 Or tank silt @ 10t ha-1with RDF is recommended.
Project Title : Effects of Promising Microbial Isolates for Enhancement of Drought Tolerance and Soil Health in Rainfed Wheat on Vertisol.

The enhancement of drought tolerance, yield, monetary return and improvement in soil properties under wheat, seed treatment of liquid Bacillus licheniformis @ 100ml / 10 kg seed was found as promising for drought tolerance along with recommended dose of fertilizers and is recommended to rainfed wheat.

Soil Contatin CaCO3 less than 15 per cent very deep soil Vertisols (Typic Haplusters) followed by Moderetly deep soil Inceptions (Typic Haplusters) select for higher production of Tamarind in Marathwada region Maharashtra. If the calcium carbonates greater than 15 per cent (15 to 25 %), application of FYM and protective irrigation for higher yield of tamarind.
Project Title : Effect of zinc solubilizing microorganisms on growth, yield, soil nutrient dynamics and microbial population in pigeon pea

For the enhancement of pigeon pea yield, monetary returns and improvement in soil properties, seed treatment of liquid Pseudomonas striata as zinc solubilizer @ 100 ml/10 kg seed + application of 30 kg ZnSO4 ha-1is recommended to pigeon pea along with recommended dose of fertilizers.
