Rajmata Jijau PG Girl's Hostel
Rajmata Jijau Girls hostel under College of Agriculture, Parbhaniwas open in 2008to accommodate PG girl students admitted through ICAR.
Facilities
- Hostel building is new, modern, spacious. The rooms are properly ventilated, and provided with fans, tube lights and furnished with cots, cupboards (lockers), a chair and a study table, and each room is attached with toilet/bath.
- A hot water Solar facility is installed in hostel for providing hot water during winter season.
- Hostel has a spacious well-furnished dining hall where daily meals are served. A food committee is working to check the quality of food served in mess. Food committee gives periodic suggestions regarding the menu and modern culinary recipes and it helps the hostel administration.
- Sitting benches are fixed in premises for resting students. Hostel is also facilitated with study rooms.
- The hostels have 24 hours RO water supply with water cooler for providing safe and pure drinking water and 24 hours tap water is available for domestic purposes.
- Hostel has a Recreation Hall with colour TV. Set.
- The hostel has 24 hours Wi-Fi connectivity for academic purpose to all the students.
- Uninterrupted power supply is made available for 24 hours. In case of shut down Inverter facility is also available in hostel. The hostel is well secured and guarded for 24 hrs.
- In girls hostel the well-equipped gymnasium is established in 2018. Students are taking advantage of this gym to keep them fit and healthy.
- Sanitary pad disposal and Vending machine is installed in hostel for keeping clean environment in hostel.
Administration
Two Assistant Hostel Warden working under Chief Hostel warden for coordination between controlling Associate Dean &Principa, COA, Parbhani and girls students of hostel. One Agriculture Assistant assist assistant hostel warden to maintain clean healthy and disciplined environment in the hostel.
Activities
"Vruksharopan", "Clean up month" and social cultural activities such as "Ganesh Utsav" "Til-GulWatap" was also organized in hostel to feel student homely.
